Once you have connected your payment gateway, you can capture card information on Handshake Rep from customers and store it in the vault of your payment gateway for later processing.
Some, but not all, payments gateways also allow for offline card storage and charging a customer immediately on the mobile app.
Storing a credit card
You can save a credit card directly to a customer from the customer list. Navigate to the customer list and open the selected customer. Scroll down to the credit card section and "Add card".
You can also save a credit card while writing an order for a customer. While building an order, navigate to the "options" tab and scroll down to the credit card and "Add card".
If you you are online, the credit card will be securely transmitted to your payment gateway, and saved in the vault. If your payment gateway supports offline storage, and you are offline, the credit card details will be transmitted by Handshake and stored in the vault of your payment gateway the next time you are online.
