Preventing backorders allows you to stop a user from submitting an order with items that you do not have in stock on Handshake Direct Online.
Make sure Inventory is also enabled in the Handshake Direct settings area.
Now, when a buyer logs into Handshake Direct, they will only be able to add as many units to the cart as you have designated are available on the stock unit import.
For enterprise customers, we also have the ability to further customize exactly which products, or subset of products can be backordered.
